1. Eligibility and Age Requirement
Randly is intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using Randly, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
We may request age or identity verification at any time. If we reasonably believe that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or terminate the account and take other appropriate measures.
2. Account Registration and Security
You may be required to create an account to use some or all features of Randly. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
You may not sell, transfer, rent, share, or otherwise provide your Randly account to another person without our written permission.
3. Profiles and Dating Preferences
Randly may allow you to create a public or semi-public profile containing information such as your name, age, photographs, videos, biography, occupation, education, interests, languages, relationship intentions, lifestyle information, general location, and dating preferences.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. You must not impersonate another person, create a misleading identity, misrepresent your age, or provide materially false information intended to deceive other users.
You may choose to add optional information such as religion, health information or social media handles. Only add information you are comfortable sharing; you can remove it at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle this information.
4. Location-Based Features
If you grant location permission, Randly may use location information to show nearby users, calculate approximate distance, provide discovery features, improve recommendations, and support safety or fraud-prevention functions.
Randly may display approximate distance or a general location to other users. You should not rely on displayed distance or location information as exact, complete, or continuously updated.
5. Matching and Recommendations
Randly may use automated systems, ranking methods, and algorithms to determine which profiles, recommendations, matches, content, or features are shown to you.
We do not guarantee that you will receive matches, messages, responses, dates, relationships, compatibility, visibility, engagement, or any particular outcome from using Randly.
6. User Conduct
You agree to use Randly lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- use Randly if you are under 18;
- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit, abuse, or defraud another person;
- post or send hateful, violent, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or illegal content;
- share non-consensual intimate imagery or content depicting sexual exploitation;
- solicit sexual content from minors or engage in conduct that endangers minors;
- impersonate another person or create fake, deceptive, or fraudulent accounts;
- use Randly for scams, phishing, money laundering, fraud, or unauthorized commercial solicitation;
- request or pressure users to send money, financial credentials, passwords, or sensitive authentication information;
- upload malware, malicious code, or content intended to interfere with the Service;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, index, or collect user information through automated means without permission;
- reverse engineer, bypass, disable, or interfere with security or access controls except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use bots, scripts, automated swiping, automated messaging, or similar systems to manipulate the Service;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other legal rights;
- use another person's photos, videos, identity documents, or personal data without permission or another lawful basis;
- encourage, assist, or attempt any prohibited conduct.
- offer, request or advertise sexual services, escort services or any form of commercial sexual activity;
- share another user's photos, messages, contact details or other personal information outside Randly without their consent;
- contact or try to meet a user who has blocked you, or create a new account after being banned;
- use Randly for advertising, promoting other apps or services, or recruiting users to other platforms;
7. User Content
"User Content" includes profile information, photographs, videos, text, messages, voice messages, stories, comments, descriptions, and other material that you upload, transmit, publish, display, or otherwise make available through Randly.
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to Randly, you grant ZA ALB LTD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, moderate, improve, and promote the Service, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights and permissions for User Content you submit and that our permitted use of it will not violate the rights of any third party.
8. Messages and Communications
Randly may provide messaging, image sharing, video sharing, and voice messaging features. You are responsible for your communications and interactions with other users.
We may process communications and related information as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, investigate reports, detect fraud or abuse, protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
9. Stories
Randly may allow you to publish stories (images, videos, text or audio) that are visible for a limited time. You choose who can see your stories. Some stories may require coins or a premium subscription to view, and a short preview or blurred thumbnail may be shown before unlocking. Stories are User Content and must follow these Terms. We may remove stories that violate these Terms before they expire.
10. Social Handles and Contact Details
Randly may let you add Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp details to your profile and let other users unlock them, for example with coins. A WhatsApp entry reveals your phone number. Once another user has seen your contact details, we cannot control how they use them, and communications outside Randly are not covered by our safety tools. You must only add handles and numbers that belong to you.
Unlocking a social handle gives you access to the information the other user has chosen to share at that time. It does not guarantee that the account is active, accurate or that the user will respond. If the user removes or changes the handle, we are not obliged to refund the coins spent.
11. Safety, Reports, and Blocking
Randly may provide reporting and blocking tools. We may review reports, relevant content, account history, and technical information in order to investigate suspected violations and protect users.
We do not conduct comprehensive background checks on every user and do not guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct, truthfulness, or safety of any user. You are responsible for exercising reasonable caution when communicating with or meeting other users.
If you decide to meet someone in person, meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, arrange your own transport and stay in control of your personal belongings. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
12. Content Moderation, Complaints and Appeals
We use a combination of automated tools (such as image safety checks and spam detection), user reports and human review to identify content and behaviour that may be illegal or may break these Terms.
Reporting illegal or harmful content
You can report a profile, message or story from within the App, or by emailing support@randlyapp.com with a description and, where possible, the user's profile name. You do not need an account to report illegal content by email. We prioritise reports involving the safety of children, threats of violence, non-consensual intimate imagery, fraud and harassment.
What we may do
Depending on the seriousness of the issue, we may remove or restrict content, limit features, issue a warning, suspend or permanently ban an account, and, where required by law or where someone's safety is at risk, report the matter to the police or other authorities. Where we restrict your content or account, we will tell you the reason unless doing so would be unlawful or would put someone at risk.
Complaints and appeals
If you disagree with a moderation decision, or want to complain about how we handled a report, you can contact us through in-app support or at support@randlyapp.com within six months of the decision. Please include your account email or phone number and the reason for your appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a person who was not involved in the original decision where practicable, and we will tell you the outcome. This does not affect your right to take the matter to a court or, where applicable, an out-of-court dispute settlement body.
13. Verification Features
Randly may offer or require photo, selfie, age, identity, or other verification features. Verification is intended to reduce certain risks but does not guarantee that a user is truthful, safe, trustworthy, or free from misconduct.
14. Subscriptions and Paid Features
Randly may offer premium subscriptions, virtual items, boosts, paid messaging features, or other paid functionality. Pricing, duration, included features, renewal terms, and applicable taxes will be shown before purchase where required.
Purchases made through platforms such as Google Play or the Apple App Store are also subject to the applicable platform's payment and subscription terms. The platform may process payment and manage billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
15. Auto-Renewing Subscriptions
Where a subscription is sold on an auto-renewing basis, it may automatically renew for the applicable subscription period unless cancelled before renewal in accordance with the cancellation rules shown at purchase or by the relevant application store.
Deleting your Randly account or uninstalling the App may not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through a third-party application store. You are responsible for cancelling such subscriptions through the relevant store where required.
16. Virtual Items and Coins
Randly may provide virtual items, credits, coins, gifts, boosts, or similar digital features ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items are licensed, not sold, have no cash value, do not represent stored monetary value, and cannot be redeemed for cash unless applicable law expressly requires otherwise.
Virtual Items may be subject to product-specific conditions, expiration rules, usage limits, or promotional terms disclosed at the time they are offered. We may change, replace, limit, or discontinue Virtual Items where permitted by law.
Coins may be used, for example, to send virtual gifts, unlock stories or social handles, or activate boosts and super likes. Sending a gift or spending coins in connection with another user does not transfer money or anything of monetary value to that user, and recipients cannot exchange gifts or coins for cash.
Unused coins and Virtual Items are forfeited if your account is deleted, or if it is terminated because you seriously breached these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or the rules of the payment platform through which a purchase was made, purchases may be non-refundable once supplied or consumed. Refund eligibility for purchases processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store may be determined by the applicable store.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer refund, cancellation, or withdrawal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Promotions
We may offer trials, discounts, promotional pricing, rewards, promotional Virtual Items, or other campaigns. Additional terms may apply. We may withdraw or modify a promotion where permitted by law, including in cases of error, abuse, fraud, or technical malfunction.
19. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, Randly and all related software, source code, object code, designs, interfaces, graphics, logos, trademarks, databases, features, text, and other materials are owned by or licensed to ZA ALB LTD and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Randly for lawful personal use.
20. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about Randly, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you. This does not give us any rights to your User Content beyond those described in these Terms.
21. Third-Party Services
Randly may rely on or integrate third-party services relating to hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, email delivery, payments, content delivery, communication, fraud prevention, and other functionality.
We are not responsible for third-party services that are outside our control. Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
22. Suspension and Termination
We may investigate suspected violations and may warn, restrict, suspend, disable, remove, or terminate an account or access to features where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or protect the Service.
Serious violations may result in immediate termination without prior notice where permitted by law. We may also preserve certain records where reasonably necessary for legal, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute-resolution, or enforcement purposes.
23. Account Deletion
You can delete your account in the App (General → Account → Delete My Account), by following the instructions at randlyapp.com/delete-account, or by contacting: support@randlyapp.com.
24. Customer Support
You can contact us through the support form in the App (General → App Settings → Support) or by email. You may choose the language in which you would like to receive a reply; we will try to respond in that language but may reply in English where this is not possible. Response times may vary and are not guaranteed. Please do not send passwords, full card numbers or identity documents unless we specifically ask for them through a secure channel.
25. Service Availability and Changes
We may add, remove, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features or parts of Randly from time to time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available.
We may perform maintenance, security updates, emergency changes, feature experiments, or technical modifications without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
26. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Randly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that profiles are accurate, that users are compatible, that interactions will be successful, or that the Service will meet every expectation or requirement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZA ALB LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings arising from or connected with use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.
28. Your Responsibility for Claims
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of Randly, your material breach of these Terms, your infringement of third-party rights, or User Content that you submit in violation of these Terms.
29. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of the country where you live. These Terms do not remove or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be waived or limited by contract.
30. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
Subject to any mandatory rights you may have to bring proceedings in your country of residence, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
31. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Randly, new features, legal or regulatory requirements, security needs, business practices, or third-party services.
Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes. Continued use of Randly after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
32. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
33. No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
34. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific features, form the agreement between you and ZA ALB LTD concerning your use of Randly, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
35. Language
These Terms may be translated into other languages. If there is any inconsistency between a translation and the English version, the English version prevails, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
